Welcome, Richmond Interracial Couples & Families!

Hi! Are you new to Richmond Va and feeling a little out of place? Do you have biracial kids that could use a play date. Do you and your wife or husband want to connect with other biracial couples and families for fun nights out or dinner socials with new friends. If so, then this is the group for you!! I have developed this group because I want my daughter to know that she is not alone. There are plenty of children who look like her and come from similar families. This social group is geared toward parents of biracial children. The purpose of this group is to (1) meet other parents and kids in Richmond Virginia and the surrounding area from a multiracial background, (2) make new friends and (3) to discuss issues that come up for us related to race, and parenting in general and (4) to connect. Maybe you'll discover that you have lots in common with someone else or just share ideas : hobbies, relocation, job, start a play group, etc. Discuss the similar challenges that you face and the rewards of your situation. Our children will see that they are not so different from other families. All members are welcome!
